Most frequent questions and answers

Yes, as long as your child has completed at least a beginning fencing program at a qualified fencing club or school, however the level of the fencer of last year was really high.

It is a good experiance to meet expert fencers and learn from them.

The Plymouth Fencing Club Internationl Camp is for fencers ages 13 and above. If your child is younger there is another option, the mini camp.

The MINI CAMP is an opportunity for young fencers (6-12 y.o.) to learn from international fencers and coaches.

We will run the mini camp from monday to thursday, from 9.00 AM to 12.00 AM

The fencing program includes a complete set of activities, ranging from warm-ups and footwork drills, structured/coached training practices, a competition/tournament, small group lessons, and private lessons.

One individual lesson is included in the camp charge, however, if you wish extra lessons you can book here.

The last day of the camp there will take place a competition, divided by genre, and all fencers are eligible to participate.

Prizes, medals, and certificates are awarded.

Fencers are expected to bring their own equipment. We have some equipment available in the event that a fencer has a problem with some of their gear, but it is for sale only, not for general use.

Yes, everyday our armoure will be at the camp with everything you need.
